FoodPlay Productions has developed a comprehensive, turn-key program designed to bring nutrition education to your entire school district, using the power of live theater to educate, entertain, and inspire students, teachers, and families throughout your whole community!

Our school district-wide tours help you:

Make nutrition come alive with fun-filled award-winning theater shows for every school in your district.
Get stakeholders on board to build a healthy school environment and create effective school wellness policies.
Extend nutrition education throughout the year with standards-based educational materials.


Live FOODPLAY Performances:

Using fantastic feats of juggling, theater, music, magic, and audience participation, FOODPLAY empowers students with the skills they need to make healthy eating and exercise choices.
Originally sponsored by the USDA and CDC, FOODPLAY programs are research-based and highly evaluated—showing dramatic improvements in students’ nutrition knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors.
Programs come with a School Resource Kit which features everything schools need to make nutrition come alive all year long!


Grade Levels: K through 5
Audience Size: Up to 400
School Tour: A maximum of 12 performances per week at up to 10 schools per week
Special Option: Opportunity for family night or community event
Standard Venue: Auditorium, cafetorium, gymnasium, community center, local theater or other appropriate performance space
